Hi All,
A feature packed culture and security edition inside. Look out for interviews, announcements and complimentary services especially my interview with Steve Worral, MD Microsoft Australia … read ahead …
Culture has always been close to my heart. We’ve all experienced times where we have worked in places with great culture and in those where you would rather slide naked on broken glass than go to work. Creating and being a great place to work is not only good for attracting the right kind of talent, it’s vital for growing your business. Richard Branson, articulates this in a far better way than I ever could, ‘Clients do not come first. Employees come first. If you take care of your employees, they will take care of your clients. When you take care of your clients, your business thrives’. Although we don’t use the word employee (we prefer crew) this attitude is something we deeply believe in at Insentra.
In this edition you will hear from Merle Singer (a very good friend of mine who impacted my career early on with the phrase ‘let yourself speak for yourself’ – you’ll need to watch the episode to find out what that means) Andrew Herrmann, Sales Director EFEX group and his experience with millennials and Julie Alexander, CEO and Founder of Change International about the value of workplace Culture. Additionally I had the pleasure of interviewing Steven Worrall, MD Microsoft Australia who has a very interesting take on culture and what is required to make a difference for larger organizations.
I hope you find value in these interviews and you can take some of the ideas generated to inspire your ‘crew’ to be their best at work. While we are on the topic of crew, I would like to introduce you to Jody Elkins, who is the President of Insentra Americas. One thing we love about our team is they bring their whole self to work and you’ll get to see who Jody is.
What would an Insentragram be without the tech stuff?
I’m not sure if you have heard but Skybox is now in Australia (next month you will get to meet CEO and Founder, Gidi Cohen) and we are proud to be delivering professional services for Skybox ANZ. This technology is outstanding and definitely something to get interested in.
Lee Foster, Head of Information Management and Cyber Security at Insentra, is providing a complimentary (subject to approval) four day Microsoft Security Assessment available for our partners to take to their Microsoft Managed clients. If you are a Microsoft managed client, this Security Assessment is for you!
In other news, to provide consistency across our global operations, the Insentra crew will be changing email addresses in the coming weeks to firstname.surname@insentragroup.com. If you have any of our crew on Skype for Business and you can’t contact them at their ‘saved’ address please update their contact information to the new insentragroup.com address.
Anyway, there is a lot more to Insentragram so I’ll let you enjoy this month’s edition. Before I sign off I would like to thank everyone who contributed to my CEO sleepout cause. Together we raised over $12k – a great contribution to those impacted by homelessness.
Cheers,
Ronnie Altit
CEO Insentra
PS: Anyone headed to Microsoft Inspire in July? We would love to see you! Come and say Hi
