Turnium Technology Group to acquire Insentra for up to C$15M

New Zealand | Turnium Technology Group to acquire Insentra for up to C$15M

Insentra confirms that Turnium Technology Group Inc. (TTGI), a Canadian technology as a service provider, has entered into a proposal to acquire Insentra for up to C$15 million. This development reinforces a shared commitment to a stronger global channel ecosystem and delivers clear benefits for Insentra partners and the clients they support.

The proposed consideration includes C$5.7 million in cash and shares, alongside performance based earn out payments of up to C$7.25 million across the two financial years following completion. An additional C$2 million may be paid for exceeding performance targets.

Founded in 2010 in Sydney by Ronnie Altit, Itzik Gur and Steven Boi, Insentra has built its reputation around a partner obsessed philosophy. This foundation will continue to guide the combined organisation.

Turnium, headquartered in Vancouver, began as Multapplied Networks in 2012 with a focus on SD WAN software. It has since expanded into a complete TaaS offering, including partner enablement platforms driven by AI.

Once the transaction is completed, the combined group will consist of about 150 team members worldwide. Ronnie Altit will become global head of sales and marketing, Steven Boi will become global head of product sales and Itzik Gur will take on the role of CISO. Insentra’s people first culture will remain a core part of the broader organisation.

Turnium global CEO Doug Childress said the acquisition aligns with the company’s growth plans and is expected to significantly expand the reach and capability of the combined team.

Ronnie Altit said the proposal strengthens the value Insentra brings to partners across the globe, while preserving its commitment to being one hundred per cent channel only.

What this means for Insentra partners

This proposal is designed to provide meaningful, immediate and long-term benefits for Insentra partners. Key outcomes include:

  • Access to an expanded global portfolio of services covering cloud, security, networking, modern workplace and advanced partner enablement solutions.
  • Stronger technical depth through increased engineering, consulting and operational resources drawn from both organisations.
  • A larger global ecosystem of more than 280 channel partners, opening opportunities for collaboration, new routes to market and shared innovation.
  • Continued access to Insentra leadership, culture and delivery quality with no shift away from the channel only model.
  • Greater stability and investment fuelled by Turnium’s TaaS platform and global infrastructure.

What this means for end users

Although Insentra remains channel only, the proposed acquisition delivers clear advantages for end clients through their trusted partners. Benefits include:

  • Wider access to innovative technologies and services delivered through a unified global platform.
  • Accelerated delivery capability supported by expanded resources and advanced automation.
  • Improved security outcomes through Turnium’s network expertise and the appointment of a dedicated CISO across the combined organisation.
  • More comprehensive solutions that draw on the combined strengths of both companies.

Ronnie Altit said the proposal will enable partners to bring richer, more complete offerings to their clients while maintaining the trusted relationships that have defined Insentra since its founding.

Closing of the transaction is expected by 31 December, subject to final conditions.
