IGEL Appoints Insentra as its Master Distributor for Australia and New Zealand
Reading, UK, February 3, 2020 – IGEL, provider of the next-gen edge OS for cloud workspaces, today announced the appointment of Insentra as its Master Distributor for Australia and New Zealand. Using its virtualisation and cloud expertise and existing partnerships with Citrix, VMware and Microsoft, Insentra is ideally positioned to fulfil demand for IGEL’s software solutions that deliver more secure, manageable and cost-effective endpoint management and control.
Insentra will offer new channels to market, pre-sales support and professional and managed services for IGEL and its customers in the ANZ region. Starting out as four professionals working from a Sydney garage, Insentra has rapidly grown to be recognised as the region’s premier channel-only professional and managed services provider for cloud and virtualisation.
“With its existing relationships, Insentra is the go-to organisation in the ANZ for cloud and virtualisation technology providers,” said Leigh Howard, Vice President of International Sales, IGEL. “As businesses continue to rapidly move their IT infrastructure to the open flexibility of the cloud, it makes Insentra the perfect partner to meet the growing demand for IGEL’s endpoint solutions in the region.”
When used with technologies such as Windows Virtual Desktop, Citrix and VMware, the IGEL OS and IGEL Universal Management Suite standardise endpoints and provide for adaptive configuration and granular control up to and beyond 100,000 seats. This technology advantage is delivered whilst providing users with a familiar, trouble-free workspace. IGEL OS is also hardware-agnostic, supporting any x86 machine, so enterprises can extend the life of ageing hardware while standardising a heterogeneous device estate with simple to manage policy control and increased endpoint security.
“We are very excited to be re-launching IGEL in the ANZ markets and look forward to working closely with Exclusive Networks to bring the IGEL solutions to the channel,” said Ronnie Altit, Chief Executive Officer, Insentra. “As the desktop landscape becomes more virtualised, IGEL and particularly the IGEL OS is perfectly placed to enable cost-savings in the management of desktop infrastructure. IGEL is an ideal fit with the Insentra offerings, complementing our Modern Desktop Solution Area and enabling us to add more value to our channel partners.”
