A latest Forrester Cyber Security Predictions report predicts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>33% of data breaches will be caused by insider incidents in 2021 (up from 25% in 2020)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The increase in remote work naturally leads to increased insider risk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insider threat incidents are expected to grow 8% in 2021<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-562043f9-553a-444c-a740-295285966acb\">Still don\u2019t think security should be top of mind for your organization? According to a Data Risk Report released by Varonis:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Over 64% of financial service companies have 1,000+ sensitive files accessible to every employee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On average, 50% of user accounts are stale<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>38% of all users sampled have a password which never expires<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>62% of breaches not involving an error, misuse, or physical action involved the use of stolen credentials, brute force, or phishing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-27ace576-7014-49a3-b21c-a822592826e8\">These are truly alarming statistics and is proof it\u2019s now no longer a matter of \u201cIF\u201d, it\u2019s \u201cWHEN\u201d.
