Veritas<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>has honoured its top performing partners across the channel in Australia and New Zealand, recognising innovation and excellence on both sides of the Tasman.<\/p>\n

Revealed under the Vivid lights in Sydney, Intalock claimed the coveted Partner of the Year 2017 (Pacific) award, with Data#3 acknowledged for 12 months of strong growth across the market.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Datacom took home the New Zealand honours, with Global Storage and Insentra winning service provider and consulting awards respectively.<\/p>\n

Dicker Data was recognised as the standout distributor of the year, while Hitachi Data Systems claimed the alliance partner award.<\/p>\n

\u201cVeritas locally has just wrapped up a stellar year of growth in FY17,\u201d Veritas managing director A\/NZ Louis Tague said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe support and commitment shown by our amazing channel partners has been instrumental in this success. We have the privilege of collaborating with some truly passionate and inspiring individuals and organisations.\u201d<\/p>\n

Contributing to Veritas\u2019 growth has been global strategic partnerships with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft and Google, as the data management vendor ramps up its channel efforts in the cloud.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur focus for FY18 is on working even more closely with our partner ecosystem to build on this amazing momentum,\u201d Veritas director of channels A\/NZ Janet Docherty added.<\/p>\n

\u201cAn example of this approach is we recently held our first local Veritas Partner Advisory Council. This involves Veritas taking guidance on how we can best jointly go-to-market and fine tune our customer offerings. We\u2019re very excited by the potential of this local initiative.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe market is changing more rapidly than ever before \u2013 particularly in the area of cloud and the accelerating shift to an annuity model for partners. This presents challenges, but also lots of untapped opportunity for our partner ecosystem as we continue to work together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Intalock claimed the top prize for the second year running,\u00a0after also being honoured as the leading partner during the inaugural awards in 2016.<\/a><\/p>\n

Specifically, the Brisbane-based technology provider was recognised following 12 months of \u201cstrong growth\u201d, following key customer wins across the wider Veritas portfolio.<\/p>\n

\u201cIntalock operate at the very highest level of technical expertise and customer focus,\u201d Docherty added. \u201cTheir architecting skills are outstanding and they bring incredible value to the table both for their customers and to Veritas as a vendor.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe stellar growth in the Intalock business \u2013 both geographically and in terms of technology practice areas \u2013 is immensely gratifying to see, but at the same time completely predictable.\u201d<\/p>\n
