For those of you who have already adopted Microsoft Intune, please continue reading!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">REQUIREMENT<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The customer (Contoso) and I were making numerous\u00a0configuration profile and compliance policy changes to the Contoso Microsoft Intune environment. We were manually syncing the test devices, and everything was working well. Once we were happy with the final configuration, we wanted to push this out to several production devices as soon as possible. Unfortunately, Microsoft Intune has an 8 hour SLA with devices syncing. This can be a bit of a pain for administrators if you need policy updates deployed quickly. Thankfully, there is a way to bulk sync many devices at once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To implement this solution you need to have one of the below Azure AD admin roles assigned to your account&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Intune Administrator (least privilege)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Global Administrator&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All users must have an Intune licensed assigned based on your current licensing model, for example, Microsoft 365 E5.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All the configuration takes place within <a href=\"https:\/\/endpoint.microsoft.com\/#view\/Microsoft_Intune_DeviceSettings\/TenantAdminMenu\/~\/assignmentFilters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Microsoft Intune admin centre<\/a> &gt; Devices &gt; All devices. For this purpose, we are going to select sync<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"321\" src=\"https:\/\/www.insentragroup.com\/nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2023\/04\/image-2-1024x321.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19231\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.insentragroup.com\/nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2023\/04\/image-2-1024x321.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.insentragroup.com\/nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2023\/04\/image-2-300x94.png 300w, https:\/\/www.insentragroup.com\/nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2023\/04\/image-2-768x241.png 768w, https:\/\/www.insentragroup.com\/nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2023\/04\/image-2.png 1084w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You can then select which devices you want to sync. As the message suggests, you can only suggest 100 devices at once. Ensure you have the required Azure AD admin role and Intune license, and follow the steps in the Intune admin center to initiate a bulk sync of up to 100 devices at once.
