Upguard has signed Insentra as its exclusive service delivery partner for ANZ, in a deal the cyber resilience platform provider says bolsters its local channel play, providing local service and support for partners.<\/p>\n
Australian-born, Silicon Valley-based UpGuard, which provides visibility into IT infrastructures and cybersecurity postures, ramped up its local play earlier this year, building out its two-tier distribution model with distie deals with NextGen and ACA Pacific and opening a Sydney office.<\/p>\n
Gerry Sillars, UpGuard APAC vice president, says Insentra\u2019s technical expertise, channel-only business, and \u2018great\u2019 reputation, makes the IT services company \u2018an ideal choice\u2019 to support UpGuard\u2019s channel efforts locally.<\/p>\n
\u201cTheir dedicated team of highly trained consultants will work closely with our existing channel partners as a locally-based, external support capability to ensure that our customers are getting the best experience possible, from deployment onwards,\u201d Sillars says.<\/p>\n
Upguard says the deal will enable it, and its partners, to provide end-users with the customer service and support needed to continue to scale UpGuard\u2019s business across ANZ \u2013 markets the company says are \u2018key\u2019 for it.<\/p>\n
Ronnie Altit, Insentra chief executive, says \u201cWe believe in [UpGuard\u2019s] mission to introduce robust cyber resilience to companies needing to tackle increasingly complex cyber risk and look forward to a long and successful partnership.\u201d<\/p>\n
UpGuard started within an Australian accelerator program in 2012 and attracted the attention of investors including Square Peg Capital and Valar Ventures.<\/p>\n
The business counts Rackspace, Citrix, Amadeus, and PGI among its customers.<\/p>\n
