Concerns over job security and financial woes are two triggers for once-trusted employees to become malicious insiders:&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Forrester survey data,&nbsp;trusted insiders and business partners, intentionally and unintentionally, are responsible for 43%&nbsp;of security breaches&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Identity theft and account takeover attacks<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;Triggered by COVID-19 and the resulting growth in digital interactions,&nbsp;Forrester estimates&nbsp;identity theft and account takeover increased by at least 10% to 15% from 2019 to 2020:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Forrester anticipates&nbsp;another 8% to 10% increase in identity theft and ATO fraud in 2021&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Attacks against COVID-related mobile applications<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;Over 50 countries launched contact tracing&nbsp;applications&nbsp;since&nbsp;2020.&nbsp;These applications&nbsp;will become attractive targets for miscreants as we struggle to balance safety and privacy in the race to the next normal&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>So,\u00a0with\u00a0Identity being the\u00a0prime focus\u00a0for\u00a0security controls,\u00a0how do you\u00a0mitigate cyber threats as you embark on your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insentragroup.com\/au\/insights\/resources\/ebooks-and-guides\/the-ultimate-guide-to-zero-trust\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Zero Trust journey<\/a>?\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Azure Active Directory&nbsp;has taken&nbsp;the&nbsp;leadership&nbsp;crown in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Access Management.
