Last year my colleague Jay Bleau covered Device Enrolment with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM)<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this blog I will cover the configuration options available for iOS app<\/a>\u00a0assignment with Microsoft Endpoint Manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To add applications for iOS devices:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to your Microsoft Endpoint Manager admin centre https:\/\/endpoint.microsoft.com\/<\/a><\/li>
  2. Select \u2018Apps\u2019 from the menu<\/li>
  3. Select \u2018All Apps\u2019 (applications will already be pre-populated in all apps list)<\/li>
  4. To add a new iOS application, click \u2018Add\u2019<\/li>
  5. Under app type, choose \u2018iOS store app\u2019 and then press \u2018Select\u2019<\/li>
  6. Select \u2018Search the App Store\u2019<\/li>
  7. We select Australia as our local store in the dropdown box and we will search for \u2018Microsoft Outlook\u2019<\/li>
  8. Click \u2018Microsoft Outlook\u2019 and then press \u2018Select\u2019<\/li>
  9. We will see Endpoint Manager pre-populates the \u2018App information\u2019 with Name, Description and Publisher fields with the details brought across from the public app store:<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. The \u2018Minimum operating system\u2019 for the version of the app will be pre-populated too (this can be modified if necessary, however, the app developer being Microsoft has set this minimum requirement so there would be no need for us to change these settings).<\/li>
    2. Once we are happy, we can press \u2018Next\u2019 and assign the app to our devices.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
